If you use supplements such as gels, salt tablets or energy bars, etc., you must pack these in your rucksack.

The weather is a crucial factor during 100-kilometre races. Prioritise your safety – the Letecká stovka is a winter sporting event. Check the weather forecasts before the event and adapt your kit and clothing accordingly. Do not underestimate the importance of your kit and, above all, your clothing (including spare items)!

We will monitor the weather throughout the event. Should the weather pose a safety risk, the organisers will issue a notice to participants and take appropriate action based on the organisers’ decision.

Information on the condition of the route (one week before the race):

- The crossing of the tarmac road heading towards Bánovce nad Bebravou on the route to Beckov is marked via an underpass.

- The section before Beckov and before K1 – the embankment – switches to the tarmac road for a stretch of approximately  300 metres and then returns off the tarmac; extra caution is required.

- In the section near the gamekeeper’s lodge below Kostolný vrch, part of the route is muddy and more difficult to navigate.

- At Prieľačina, there is a section that is more difficult to navigate, with additional, reinforced signposting;

- Mníchova Lehota – Jarky – take care when crossing the main road leading to Bánovce nad Bebravou – there is often heavy traffic here!

- Beyond the road, the route crosses the railway line; there is a level crossing here.

- On and below the Čiernachovské meadows, there are muddy sections which can be bypassed.

- The section before the Brezina forest park tends to be muddy when wet.
